Hi, I’m Chaitanya — a Data Science MS student at Georgia Tech with hands-on experience building scalable ML systems across research and industry.

At ZS Associates, I integrated Qdrant multi-vector search and built a Hierarchical FAISS KMeans pipeline that cut query time by 95% — no LLMs needed. I also developed an async workflow for extracting entities from 100+ page documents into structured JSON.

Previously at Rakuten, I finetuned mBERT for a recommender system serving 47M users, containerized a denoising autoencoder pipeline, and accelerated embedding generation by 85% using an H100-based cluster.

I’ve also worked with Google (via Tech Mahindra) on LSTM models for chip testing, and shipped deep learning projects on style transfer, spatio-temporal forecasting, and EMG-based gesture recognition.

My toolkit spans deep learning, LLMs, vector DBs, and AI agents — and I’m always looking to apply them to real-world problems at scale.

As a hobby, I love to draw, cook, and lift weights! I spend most of my time with family, which includes his two puppies.
